I am interested in a variety of things, including linguistics, history, culture and literature. I'm involved in medieval recreation and studies of ancient periods particularly in Europe, China and Japan. I like Japanese and American style comics; fantasy, science-fiction and horror novels ranging from 1920s classics to some modern pulp; I also enjoy classical literature and poetry, and have a guilty pleasure for Harry Potter, Courtney Crumrin and Invader Zim.
I write original novels, short stories and erotica of a variety of flavors. Because of this, I have had to instill a sort of regimen on my fanfiction. I have about eleven fandoms that I commonly write in, and this journal will be updated with a 1000-2000 word or more fanfic once per week, generally posted on Mondays or Tuesdays. Shorter fanfics, drabbles and giftfics will be posted erratically.
I write fanfiction due to my deep love of the characters, and despite the fact that what I write is often vastly divergent from canon, I feel that the characterizations do not suffer from it. I also write due to my love of quick feedback and a deep lust for adulation. (Hey, at least I admitted it.) Because of that, I'm very receptive to suggestions and to write gifts for people who friend, hang around, and provide feedback (even if it isn't always laudatory.)
